The Hand Equestrian Centre was purchased during the latter part of 2006 by the Charles Davies Partnership. The substantial site was in need of immediate attention, and over the next 18 Months the facility will be developed to become the South West's leading equestrian centre.

Our aim is to become the South West's equestrian training centre for the 2012 London Olympics.

We also hope to develop local talent, host well organised events catering for all ages and provide a welcoming, friendly, family atmosphere.

The current extensive refurbishments include in the indoor arenas surface, barriers and seating, a completely new warm up area, restaurant and bar, W.C.'s and provision of first floor function room/dining area that are now completed.

Refurbishment of stabling and outdoor arena is now under way. The lorry and car park are now resurfaced - further improvements planned and new Horse Rehabilitation Facility with revolutionary Water Treadmill, Electrotherapy Unit and full veterinary supervision coming into operation very soon.
