Class 14 The World Class Development Programme Championships
Open to horses in grades A, B & C which have won £800.00 notional or more, to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Pony Associate members whose 23rd birthday falls on or after 1st January 2010. Table A7. Speed 350mpm. Maximum height of fences 1.40m. Maximum width 1.50m. Qualifies for The World Class Development Programme Championship 2010 plus one supporting competition – the World Class Development Programme Pathfinder to be held in association with The British Show Jumping Championships at the NEC, Birmingham in April 2010. Numbers to qualify: The top twenty two horse/rider combinations, based on points accumulated as a result of that horse/rider combination best four results from the seven qualifiers. In the case of equality for the twenty second qualifying place, the rider with the best profile of results (i.e. the greatest number of higher placings taking into account the four best results) will qualify. Points towards qualification will be awarded to each horse/rider combination according to their placing in each of the qualifying competitions as follows: 1st – 40 points, 2nd – 34 points, 3rd – 28 points, 4th – 23 points, 5th – 19 points, 6th – 16 points, 7th – 13 points, 8th – 10 points, 9th – 8 points, 10th – 5 points.

WINTER GRADES A & B PREMIER GRAND PRIX CHAMIONSHIP (SPECIAL RULES)
(Qualifier for the Winter Premier Grand Prix Championship at the 2010 British Open)
Grand Prix Points League Points will be awarded to the best places six horse/rider combinations in each Premier Grand Prix. The best four results, from any one combination, will be the points that are accumulated to define the top twenty riders who will qualify from the League. In the case of equality for the Twentieth qualifying place, the rider with the best profile of results (i.e. the greatest number of higher placings taking into account the four best results) will qualify. Qualifiers will qualify for the Winter Grades A & B Premier Grand Prix Championship to be held at The British Open Show Jumping Championships at the NEC, Birmingham in April 2010. Points awarded to each combination as follows: 1st = 12 points; 2nd = 10 points; 3rd = 8 points; 4th = 6 points; 5th = 4 points; 6th = 2 points nad 1 point to every other combination in the jump off. Qualified Riders can compete in the Final on any one fo the horses ridden by them in one of the qualifying Grand Prix. WINTER PREMIER SHOWS – “BONUS RANKING POINTS” POINTS LEAGUE British Show Jumping is pleased to announce that there will be a “Bonus Ranking Points” Points League held at each of the six 2009/2010 Winter Premier Shows. The first three horse/rider combinations placed in the Points League at each of the six Premier Shows will receive Bonus Rider Ranking Points on the following scale. First Place 50 Bonus Ranking PointsSecond Place 30 Bonus Ranking PointsThird Place 10 Bonus Ranking Points Shows can opt to either run their Premier Show over three or four days. The Qualifying classes for the Bonus Ranking Points League will be the two 1.40m Classes held on Day 1, 2 and the Winter A & B Grand Prix on the last day of the four day Premier Shows and the three 1.40m/1.45m classes held on each day of the three day Premier Shows.
League Point Allocation Points will be awarded to horse/rider combinations placed 6th or higher on the following scale:
1st 12 points
2nd 10 points
3rd 8 points
4th 6 points
5th 4 points
6th 2 points
Horse/rider combinations placed equal will share the total points attributable to the combined placings (for example three riders placed 4th equal received 6 + 4 + 2 divided by 3 = 4 points each). In the event of equality of League Points at the end of a Premier Show the Bonus Ranking Points will be divided i.e. those placed equal will share the total Bonus Ranking Points attributable to the combined placings (for example, two riders placed 1st equal received 50 + 30 divided by 2 = 40 Bonus Ranking Points each). |
